Vendors Artists and Classes
The Bead Society
The Bead Society is a nonprofit organization that supports the study, discussion, and shared knowledge of beads in the United States and throughout the world. The Society is open to all those who have an appreciation, personal or professional, of beads. Some members are collectors, researchers, dealers, jewelry designers, beadwork weavers, etc. We encourage and share knowledge and enjoyment of every type of bead. To learn more about us, visit our webpage, The Bead Society.
Our Vendors come from all across the country with a wide selection of beads and other accessories. The vendors at the Culver City Bead Bazaar bring wares from all over the world for our patrons to peruse and purchase.
The Artists showing at the Culver City Bead Bazaar feature unique, diverse, beautiful, and skillful art and craftwork.
This year we are adding to our Bazaar two Make and Take Jewelry classes. Sign up early for one or both classes due to limited space. Each class will be for 10 students. Our instructor is Renée Raymond, who has been our demo instructor for a number of years and is an instructor at West LA College. Enjoy a day of exploration, inspiration, and fun. Experience the art of adornment and beads!
Each class is 90 minutes, limited to 10, and the fee is $45. The materials are included in the cost.
Come and join the members of The Bead Society on October 22, 2017 at the Vets…. We will have over 55 vendors, both artists and bead sellers. Demo instructors are artists themselves and have been teaching for numerous years. You will want to talk to the artisans and instructors, learning the history and origins of their beads and watching them work their craft.
You will be inspired as you talk with jewelry artists or learn some tips from the artists at their demo booth. Demos are free and open all day as part of the event.
